Our hair sheep add another layer of diversity to our farm. They are grass fed for life. Our goal is to use their natural grazing preferences to target areas of our pastures that have weeds instead of using herbicides for weed control. They naturally choose to eat different plants than cattle. Having multiple species together also reduces parasites since they serve as dead end hosts for host specific parasites.

We lamb in May to merge optimal forage nutrition with the nutritional needs of new mothers. Lambing in early summer also allows for warmer and drier conditions for newborn lambs to get the best possible start.

Our lamb is free of antibiotics, added hormones, and GMOs. Our sheep are processed in a USDA inspected facility. Lamb is available by half or whole. This includes chops, leg roasts, stew meat, and ground lamb in vacuum sealed packaging for best storage.
